Bianca’s face twisted with pure fury as she read the message over my shoulder.
“They’re threatening my entire fucking family?” she hissed, snatching the phone from my hand. Her fingers trembled with rage as she reread Don Rossi’s ultimatum. “That old bastard thinks he can dictate terms to me?”
I stood up slowly, my body protesting every movement, but the fire in my veins drowned out the pain. “He’s testing us. Trying to turn you against me before we get too strong.”
Rook leaned against the wall, shotgun still in his hands. “We’ve got maybe twelve hours. Bianca, how big is your family operation right now?”
“Big enough to hurt them back,” she snapped. She started pacing, red dress still torn from earlier, blood and sweat on her skin. “My father controls the ports on the south side. If Rossi touches them…”
She stopped and looked at me, eyes burning. “What do you want to do, Damien?”
I stepped close, grabbing her chin firmly so she met my gaze. “We don’t hand me over. We hit them first. Hard. Tonight.”
Bianca searched my face for a long second, then a dark smile spread across her lips. She rose on her toes and kissed me — fierce, possessive, almost violent. When she pulled back, her breathing was ragged.
“You’re either going to get me killed or make me a queen,” she whispered against my mouth.
“Both,” I replied. “But you’ll enjoy every second.”
Rook cleared his throat. “I’ll get Tech on the line and pull Marco’s delivery forward. We need those guns yesterday.”
While Rook made calls, Bianca pulled me into the bedroom. She slammed the door behind us and pushed me against it.
“We might die tomorrow,” she said, already unzipping my pants. “I want you again. Right now.”
I spun her around, bending her over the bed. No foreplay. No gentleness. I yanked her ruined dress up and thrust into her from behind in one brutal stroke. She was still wet from earlier, hot and tight.
“Fuck— yes!” she cried out, gripping the sheets.
I fucked her hard and fast, one hand fisted in her hair, the other slapping her ass with sharp cracks that echoed through the room. Every thrust made her moan louder.
“Harder, Damien! Make me forget that bastard’s threat!”
I gave it to her exactly how she wanted — deep, punishing strokes that had the bed slamming against the wall. Her moans turned into screams as I reached around and rubbed her clit roughly.
“You’re mine,” I growled, pounding into her. “No one takes you from me. Not Rossi. Not anyone.”
“Yes— I’m yours!” she gasped. “Fuck, I’m coming—!”
Her pussy clenched violently around me as she came hard, legs shaking. I kept thrusting through it until I buried myself deep and filled her again with a low groan.
We collapsed onto the bed for a few moments, catching our breath. Bianca turned in my arms, tracing the bandages on my chest.
“I’m not giving you up,” she said quietly. “Not to them. Not to anyone.”
“Good,” I replied, kissing her forehead. “Because I’m not letting you go either.”
An hour later, we were in the reinforced safe room with Rook, Tommy Tech on speakerphone, and Marco confirming the weapons delivery.
“Delivery in ninety minutes at the old dockyard,” Marco said over the line. “Heavy stuff. Rifles, ammo, even a couple RPGs if you’re feeling crazy.”
Tommy’s nervous voice came next. “I’ve got eyes on three Rossi warehouses. One has their cash shipments. We hit that, we hurt their pride and their wallet.”
I looked at Bianca and Rook. “We hit the cash warehouse tonight. In and out. Send a clear message that we’re not waiting for their deadline.”
Bianca nodded. “I’ll bring three of my best men. Rook, you take point on extraction.”
“Done,” Rook said.
We spent the next forty minutes planning every detail. Routes. Timing. Escape points. Tommy would kill the security cameras and jam communications for fifteen minutes.
As we geared up with the weapons that arrived right on time, Bianca pulled me aside.
“If this goes south…” she started.
“It won’t,” I cut her off, gripping her waist. “We do this right, and tomorrow the Rossis will be the ones bleeding.”
The dockyard raid went smoother than expected at first.
Tommy’s hack worked perfectly. We moved in like shadows. Rook took out the first two guards silently. Bianca and I cleared the main office. I found the safe — packed with cash and several ledgers.
“Jackpot,” I muttered, stuffing bags.
Bianca was smiling as she covered me. “This is going to hurt them bad.”
But as we were heading for the exit, alarms suddenly blared.
“Fuck! Tommy, what happened?” Rook barked into the comms.
“They had a backup system! I’m locked out— get out now!”
Heavy footsteps thundered from multiple directions. We ran for the cars, gunfire erupting behind us.
A bullet grazed my leg as we reached the vehicles. I cursed but kept moving, firing back to cover Bianca.
We piled into the SUVs and peeled out, tires screeching. Rook was in the lead car. Bianca was beside me in the second, counting the bags.
“We got over two hundred grand and their books,” she said, adrenaline making her voice sharp. “Not bad for—”
Her words cut off as bright headlights flooded our rearview.
Three cars were gaining fast. One of them had Rossi markings.
“They’re chasing us,” I growled, reloading my pistol.
Bianca leaned out the window and started shooting back. I did the same.
One of the pursuing cars swerved wildly after Rook hit it with precision shots, but the other two kept coming.
“Faster!” I shouted at our driver.
We weaved through industrial streets, bullets flying. One slammed into our rear window, shattering it. Glass rained down on us.
Bianca laughed wildly despite everything. “This is insane!”
A sudden loud bang — our tire blew out.
The SUV fishtailed violently. I grabbed the wheel, trying to keep control as we skidded toward an abandoned lot.
We crashed hard into a chain-link fence.
“Out! Out now!” I yelled, pulling Bianca with me.
We took cover behind the wrecked car as the two Rossi vehicles stopped nearby. Men poured out, guns raised.
Then a familiar voice called out through the night.
“Damien Vale! Bianca Moretti! Don Rossi wants you both alive… for now.”
It wasn’t Enzo this time.
It was Marco “The Butcher” Conti — the Rossi family’s most sadistic hitman.
And he had at least a dozen men with him.
Bianca looked at me, breathing hard, gun ready.
“We’re outnumbered,” she whispered.
I gripped my pistol tighter, blood dripping from my fresh wounds.
“Then we make them pay for every step.”
The Butcher laughed again. “Come out nice and easy, or we start shooting pieces off you.”
The night had just gotten a lot bloodier.
